January Degree Work

Brothers, since there are 5 Monday nights in January, we have two degrees planned.

Jan 24th - 3rd Degree, Practice Thurs 20th @ 7pm and Sunday 23rd @ 5pm.

Jan 31st - 1st Degree, Practice Tues 25th @ 7pm and Sunday 30th @ 5pm.

We really need your support and participation during these two degree programs.

January Stated Meeting Delayed Due To Weather

We will hold our January Stated Meeting on Thursday, Jan 13 at 7:30pm. We will NOT be having a meal prior to the meeting.

All brothers are encouraged to attend.

Lodge Cleanup Day

What are you doing this Saturday? Why don’t you come out and help with the lodge cleanup day? It is this Saturday — September 18th from 9 am until. This is all in preparation for the mason’s BBQ that takes place next month!Can’t spend all day? Great. Just come out for a few hours. Tasks will include:

Sweeping and vacuuming
Window cleaning
Refrigerator cleaning
Stove cleaning
Cabinet cleaning
Flower planting

We can use all the help we can get. Oh yeah, LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED.

Several Receive Years of Service Award

During our last stated meeting, Past Grand Master Dan Rice, was on hand to award brothers Ralph Weddington and Chase Crump the 50 year awards and brother Bob Blythe with is 60 year award.

150th Year Anniversary Celebration

In 1859, Long Creek Masonic Lodge was given its charter. Last Saturday (July 24th), we celebrated it’s 150th anniversary with a cookout. Hamburgers, hotdogs and all the fixin’s were served to almost 100 people.A SPECIAL thank you goes out to Scott and Kenneth Starnes. Not only did they provide the hotdogs and hamburgers, they did all the cooking too.We would also like to thank the Long Creek Lodge’s Eastern Star. They provided wonderful desserts that were enjoyed by all.
